​My name is Betsy Wilburn and I have a Masters degree in Special Education with additional certification in Reading Instruction. I have taught special education in various settings for elementary, middle, and high-school aged students in MS, NC, GA, and TN. I have also worked as a Reading Interventionist in Hamilton County Schools here in Chattanooga. In addition I worked as an early interventionist to provide support to children and families who had additional needs. My favorite thing about being an educator is connecting with students and families. It is a joy to get to  meet someone where they are, walk alongside them to provide encouragement and support, and then see them reach their highest potential!
