With a love of learning myself, I am so excited to get to work with students and help them along in their journey. I have been in education for ten years. After completing my bachelor's degree in elementary education from Lee University, I taught 7th grade language arts and social studies at Lakeview Middle School for six and a half years and served as the school's reading interventionist for two years. During that time, I completed my masters and specialist degrees from Lincoln Memorial University and Liberty University. I finished my doctorate in education in July of 2018 from Kennesaw State University. I currently serve as the Academic Coach at Ringgold High School where I get the pleasure of working with teachers on curriculum and instruction and helping in any way that I can to enhance student learning and achievement. In my spare time, I love to spend time with my husband, two year old son Ben, and my newborn Alicen.
