Hi!  My name is Kristy Hicks.  I have lived in the Chattanooga area my whole life.  I have been married to my husband, Randall, for 17 years.  Together, we have two sons, Evan (10) and Nolan (6).  I graduated from UTC with a bachelor’s in Secondary Mathematics and Applied Mathematics.  I have a professional teaching license in 7th -12th grade math.  I taught at Soddy Daisy High School for 7 years, a state virtual school program (e4TN) for 2 years, and assisted in multiple teacher workshops/professional development.  I have stayed at home with my children since my first son was born, but have continued using my teaching skills through tutoring and my own children’s education.  I love math and helping others understand it better!  It’s always exciting when a student has an “AHA” moment.  I look forward to working with you.
