My name is Liz Langs and I am the owner of Traveling Tutors. I am a former teacher. I taught for 7 years in grades kindergarten, 1st, and 5th grade. I feel that all children can be successful through developmentally appropriate activities, effective teaching strategies, differentiated instruction to meet their individual needs, a whole child approach, and strong interpersonal relationships.
I made the decision to leave the classroom after hearing countless stories of families feeling unsupported, neglected, and ignored. I knew I wanted to use my experience and expertise to support these families. Traveling Tutors has grown tremendously over the last 3 years which means we are able to help more and more families. Currently, we are a team of 15 tutors serving students in grades K-12th and all subject areas. We are partners with over 25 schools in both Hamilton & Catoosa Counties.
