A mom to four and former teacher, I enjoy working with all children. I graduated with a degree in English with and naturally fell into teaching because of my love of reading and writing. I have taught a variety of ages, from preschool to high school, both in a traditional school setting and a one-on-one basis for many years. Once my daughters were diagnosed with dyslexia, I became passionate about advocating for their needs and helping them grow in their own learning journey. I have been trained in the Orton Gillingham approach as a way to help my own children and reach the needs of pre and emergent readers. While I enjoy tutoring, I also love to hike, play tennis, and travel.
