Nicole currently teaches French at the magnet school Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts for almost twenty years. She has Kindergarten through 8th grade levels, with the 8th grade taught for Level 1 credit. Before CSLA she taught at a Christian school in Stony Brook and Brooklyn, NY. She believes all children can learn. Besides teaching French, Nicole has been involved in other aspects of student life at CSLA such as leading field studies regularly to UTC for campus tours, Middle School enrichment days and co-directing the school musicals. Nicole continues to learn and grow in presentation of French. She has adopted the research-based method of Comprehensible Input or CI as the preferred language acquisition method. She loves finding ways for students to love and appreciate all languages and cultures. Nicole volunteers in her community and church. She is encourage and uplifted by her small group. As a teacher she believes in having a good support group, because the profession is very challenging. She looks forward to helping students succeed in French and life. Nicole is such an asset to our team & families!
